something awesome

last thursday i had one of the best days that i experienced in awhile. i got to attend a taping of LIVE! with kelly & michael and the chew. months ago, my mom said that she wanted to go to a show taping for her birthday. i put in for a bunch of shows and heard nothing. my boss said she was going to request tickets for the chew and asked if i would be interested. well! my boss heard back from the chew and our date was 12/13. a couple of days later i got our confirmation letter in the mail from live for...yes you've guessed it..12/13. i laughed out loud and decided that on that thursday, my job would be to clap, cheer and be a seat filler for both of these tapings. mom, sam and i took a car into the city since we had to be in so early and waited on line for live. everyone who was waiting was just so friendly and excited. we met these adorable ladies from nashville who loved our accents they even asked us to sing happy birthday to one of their sons via phone. they also took a picture of us to remember us by. at 8:45am, they let you into the studio and you can sit wherever you want. the studio is so different looking from TV. it was so awesome. i love productions and how things are run...obviously i do..i went to school for it..but i just love sets and i love being a part of a production, even if it is just part of an audience. kelly and michael were super awesome. such genuine people, during segment breaks they would talk and hangout with the crowd. it's exactly how i wanted them to be. when the taping ended, i planned on walking down the block to wait on line for the chew. well, gelman, the producer of LIVE, told us to stay put, they had more filming to do. well, a bunch of people got up and left and we stayed put because mom and sam had nothing  to do and i had time to kill before the chew. well, they announced that big stars were coming out and they were john travolta and olivia newton john. my mom and sam screamed so loud hahaha. it was pretty amusing. i got to stay to see them film a cooking segment with the love chef, but didn't get to see john and olivia. i had to leave to see the chew.

 the chew was so much fun. i met my boss and her two friends and we waited on line until it was time. our episode aired today but you couldn't see us. we watch the chew every day at work and i just love this show! i love all the hosts, and they all seem like such great friends. during segment breaks, they all joked with one another and ms carla hall, is just the sweetest, most down to earth person. she came into the audience and danced with everyone during breaks. she stayed after the taping and talked to everyone and took pictures. i took a picture with her with my boss, (i need to get it). i think daphne is absolutely gorgeous, and she is evening more stunning in person. i also have a crush on michael symon and his laugh. ah! i just love the chew! i love all of them! and i cannot wait till i go again.

who doesn't love clinton? my boss and her friends love him so we yelled "we love you clinton" that was his response face.

mom & sam waited outside the studio for us to finish up. sam took this pic of mario and michael taking off together. they were like "two guys just took off...they were laughing" i was like mario!? michael?! haha.
