a good saturday,

this past saturday was really a lot of fun. it's exactly how i feel all saturdays should feel. we had to drive out to oceanside to our ring guy to get my ring sized. (yay!) i haven't been wearing my ring because it's just a little too loose to the point where it falls off and it's just uncomfortable to wear and i end up playing with it, like putting it on cat's paws or "let's see how it would look on this object" and then i realize...hmmm you know i probably shouldn't be doing this with my engagement ring. well! that has ended because tomorrow i will get it back and that problem won't be an issue. while we were in nassau county we decided to seize the day and see what we could do around there. we already decided that we wanted to eat at 3 brothers pizza, which had a gluten free vegan options, but it was only 11:30 am so we knew we had to find something else to do before we ate some lunch. we grabbed some coffee from a cute shoppe and drove around and found a paint pottery place, called ARTrageous. i haven't painted in so long, so this was a real treat. 

after we painted we decided that it was a decent hour to go stuff our faces so we headed to the restaurant. when we walked in the server greeted us with asking "Vegan or Regular"? i lit up instantly, there's actually an option for two menus?! so we chose vegan, obv and there was a whole menu of vegan options with choice of gluten free pasta and pizza. we were able to get the last gluten free pie and ordered vegan gluten free penne alla vodka. it was so damn good and creamy.

now,i know the pizza doesn't look too tasty from the picture but it was very satisfying and had great taste. 

another great part of the day was...THE SUN WAS OUT! i feel like it's been so dreary and grey here and all the snow has pretty much melted. we drove with the windows down and i only wore a hoodie. it was absolutely fab.
