a couple of weeks ago ant and i were looking back on my old blog posts and realizing that they are nice to have as a record of the years. we have a memories, but it's fun to read and see pictures of years past. time goes by so fast and sometimes everything seems smushed together and it's hard to decipher when things happened.
fall has been pretty sweet thus far. it started off with nick and meg's wedding up in oneonta. it was so beautiful up there and i had such an amazing weekend partying with friends, catching up and celebrating love!
we had our annual halloween party. i planned our halloween costumes back in january! halloween is my absolute favorite holiday and i started thinking of costumes in the beginning of the year. we decided to go as gomez and morticia addams. ant would be mortica, of course. we got really into it too. we were watching old episodes of the addams family, i decorated the whole house addams themed. the night of the party we got dressed and we just kind of felt awful, haha. ant was miserable in his wig and he was complaining he was too hot. i felt like i really didn't look like gomez. our first guests arrived around 8:45 and in 5 minutes i came up with new costumes. we went as krumm and oblina from ahhh real monsters. we're pretty good at working under pressure.
my cousin it.
mmm scorpion pops
look at these two. <3. first off, their costumes as walt and jesse are amazing. second off, krista surprised us! they both walked in with their masks on and it was silent and i was looking suspiciously at krista because it looked like her, but i didn't want to say it was her incase i was wrong…so when she took off her mask i screamed, so did sam, and ilissa haha. all the boys knew it was her. ANYWAY, i had no idea she was coming and it was the best surprise. i miss her oh so much.
on saturday we celebrated our one year of being engaged! it's been a year!! wow. we went pumpkin picking..(WHICH WAS SO WINDY AND COLD) that night we went to tim sarina's halloween party. it was lots of fun. their house looked so good with all their decorations. i really love their home! ant went as the jolly green giant and i went as a maneki neko (japanese lucky cat)
tomorrow is halloween. i really hope we get some trick or treaters. ant and i have a fun night planned. we are going to carve our pumpkins and i am making us a halloween dinner.
