it's a netflix original series and it is AWESOME..like no really guys...its SO EFFIN' GOOD.
it's about a woman named piper who goes to prison for smuggling drug money 10 years prior for her girlfriend who ran a drug cartel. it is based on piper kerman's memoir of her experience in prison.
i first heard of piper from when she was on the moth podcast telling her story. at the end of her story, they said how her story was going to be made into a netflix series. super duper awesome. (side note, do you guys ever listen to the moth?)
anyway, i finished the series this morning, and i think it is one of the best tv shows out there right now. it is so different, and well written and pulls you in. all the characters are a little rough around the edges but i love them all..and i kind of miss them already! i need season two!

now, i know i am late to the game, but i am highly enjoying this show! it is so cute and funny and quirky, and seeing franco, rogen,segal & starr in their younger days is just too good. AND linda cardellini who plays lindsay...she's sylvia on madmen ! blew my mind, man.
oh, and i also have a crush on sam weir. he's just too cute. are we really surprised? i seem to always like the young ones. *wiiiiiiiiinnnnnnk*
creeper is out.
