today is bean entrance into my heart day

eight years ago on this day soley bean, my cat, became a member of my family. she's a very special cat to me. she was the first pet we got after my dad passed away and i bonded to her instantly. my mom started calling her bean because she's long and skinny like a string bean. actually she's pretty normal looking, we're just used to fat pets so this was a change. i'm not quite sure what her exact birthday is so i've decided to mark december 4th as "bean entrance into my heart day". i wanted to have a photo shoot with her and we did accept she wasn't keen on wearing her birthday hat, so she just preferred sitting next to it. i get it, soley bean i probably wouldn't want to wear a tiny hat on my head either.
