a july tuesday

the last time i wrote an entry was back in march about my birthday. 

the main reason i always kept blogs was for my own record keeping of stuff that happened in my life that i like to look back on. a big event was our engagement party which was in may. it was so much fun and we really had a great time. i am going to start updating this more for that reason.

my computer has been one of the main issues on why i haven't been on here. i really am due for a new one i just don't want to spend the money. sooner or later, i will take the plunge and i know it will be so worth it and i will be so much more productive.

but until then....

last weekend was really fun! (this is something i knew i wanted to look back and reflect on)

on friday ant,tim,justin and i drove into brooklyn to a bar called videology. it's a really awesome place and they were holding an OC birthday bash...it has been 10 years since the first episode aired. sam actually found this and i knew we had to go. i was so excited. justin and tim have never seen the show and ant and i always talk it up..i mean yes, it was a teen drama in the early 2000s but it is THE BEST SHOW...well, my favorite show. they played the first episode & then we all voted and they played the first chrismukkah episode

and handed out a drinking game to follow. every time a character appeared for the first time people cheered and clapped. we all sung the theme song in unison...its kind of what i picture my heaven to be. we also did trivia which to be honest, i thought we would do really good. this past year we watched the series with sam and mom and every monday we've been watching it with two of our friends..so my knowledge was pretty fresh. we didn't do horrible but the picture/trivia part is what stomped us. they showed pictures of side characters and you had to tell who they played and the actors real name. all and all it was a great time. our trivia name was the newpsies2. ;)

on saturday, we drove into manhattan and saw potted potter, a parody on harry potter. i got ant tickets for our 5 yr anniversary (wowza, 5 !) which was on june 26th. anyway, it was so funny. i highly recommend it for any harry potter fan.

i am going to end here and watch roseanne and prepare dinner. whose line is it anyway comes back tonight. now that is something worth recording!
